Local first

Poker and study scenarios are stored in your browser using the Web Storage API. We do not require an account to use the core calculators, and the odds engine math runs on your device.

Potwise collects nothing on a server from the website UI and sets no tracking or analytics cookies. Your local data stays in your browser.

Your local data is yours to clear at any time through your browser or the in-app Clear local data control.

Calculator vs public API

The calculator UI runs in your browser and does not transmit your hands to Potwise. A separate optional public decision API exists at /api/poker/decide and /api/blackjack/decide; it only receives data when someone or their agent calls it directly, not from the website UI. Avoid entering sensitive personal information in notes or calculator inputs, because they are still stored in your browser profile on this device.
